Factors connected to the lower of mother who have under five years to attend to Posyandu at Ujan Mas Baru village in community health centre Ujan Mas

Posyandu is a form of community participation to increase their health degree. One of Posyandu function is to see their health, flourish and under five years developing through activities carried out by Posyandu. The attendance of mothers in Posyandu accompanying by their under five years is very realistic to support one of Posyandu main goal. One of main Posyandu is to increase mother and under five years health and also to investigate the under five years the development. This program is to prevent the lack of nutrition case or bad nutrition.

The aim of these research is to acknowledge what factors connected to the low of mothers attendance to Posyandu. These research is using quantitative method through cross sectional approach. The data has been collected by interviewing method using questioners. These research has been taken at Ujan Mas Baru village. Sample of investigation is mother who have infant, ages between 0-36 months who live ini Ujan Mas Baru village. Sample decision is using the simple random sampling.

Result of investigation shows that there are 3 independent variables, that is degree of mother about Posyandu ( p value = 0,003 ), degree of mother educational ( p value = 0,001 ) and mother attitude to Posyandu activity ( p value = 0,001 ) after connected to mother attendance to Posyandu have p value < α.

The conclusion of these research is the three independent variables investigated have a correlation with mother who have infants to Posyandu.

It is advised to do more promotion for health has one of efforts to increase community knowledge and make people more active supporting mother to carry their infants to Posyandu.
