The health care effort do in a comprehensive and integrated and continuously by the improvement and prevention effort. One of the health program is the health behavior and society empowerment. The aim of this program is to improve the knowledge, attitude’s building and direct of individual, family and society behavior its could be keep and improve their health. The Health degree can be measured by the variety indicators such as morbidity and mortality.
This research aim to know indepth information the society behavior to the 3M Plus as the prevention effort of DBD in Puskesmas Kampus working area year 2009. It was qualitative effort with data triangulation process. The data got by the indepth interview, focus group discussion and observation.
During 2006 -2008 there are increase of Incidence of DBD as much as 40, 57 and 93 cases withouth mortality case (CFR 0%) at Puskesmas Kampus. It can be seen there are increase of the incidence. Based on the information known the knowledge, attitude and the health employee role still less in 3M Plus.
The conclusion of this research is the society behavior will be better if they have the good of knowledge and they have positive attitude to the object. The health employees role need to improve the society behavior to realized the optimally of health degree.
